Sorry this didn't help. My pictures look even a little better than on my old machine, especially when using the optional photo cartridge that provides 6-color printing.
But with this fella, the cartridge was easy to zz816 as usual, but no matter what I did - it would print with lines through black print. I've read that others have also had the same problem. If I do a search, there is nothing coming up for Lexmark. This inkjet printer fits into your space with ease, thanks to its useful form factor. Includes photo software, one black and one color cartridge.
It is very speedy and has great quality, it is a snap to install and tells you how much ink is left and all of the things you need to know before it is to late. HI Jimbo, Was this an upgrade install or a clean install?
Installation was a breeze for lexnark. The photos that I have printed and those I have done sparingly since I normally use snapfish for ordering photos have been excellent on photo paper. I have not as of yet refilled the color cartridge because if not done right as I've learned in the pastyou can end up with muddy, off colors - expecially skin tones.

Hi 1jimbo, Welcome to Microsoft Answers. Lexmark states that the drivers for Vista will work fine on Windows 7.
There was a problem completing your request. When the Vista driver is installed, use the arrow down button on the Advanced tab to select the Vista driver.

How satisfied are you with this response? Shawn - Support Engineer Replied on January 1, I then tried installing the driver as you have outlined in the steps above and although it says the printer is ready to use, when I try to print something, after a window opens to select preferences, nothing happens. I accidently made a mistake while installing this printer, and its impossible to reverse the effects of it.
I have tried the windows installer cleanup wizard but it does not find anything for Lexmark or printers. I'm not sure what went wrong Just realize that eventually you will need to buy new cartridges, but that's after many refills.

You can follow the question or vote lxemark helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. This printer was one of the best "basic" printers I have ever owned. Looking on Google it seems that there are thousands of problems with driver compatibility and backup. Alexa Actionable Analytics for the Web. Also please do the following to see if there are any system files that are corrupted. Now I usually set things lexamrk higher quality, so haven't had these numbers, but still were good.
